Watch: Dawn Wiener Returns in Wiener-Dog

It's been over 20 years since Heather Matarazzo played the quirky Dawn Wiener in Welcome to the Dollhouse. Todd Solondz's witty coming-of-age indie defined a generation of awkward '90s preteens.

Solondz has finally given us the return of Dawn Wiener. This time, she's all grown up and played by Greta Gerwig in Wiener-Dog. The film actually follows the journey of said dog as it goes from owner to owner. The film also stars Danny DeVito, Ellen Burstyn, Kieran Culkin, and Zosia Mamet.

Wiener-Dog hits theaters June 24. Watch the trailer below:
