At last, James McAvoy is channeling some Charles Xavier baldness a la Patrick Stewart. In the upcoming sequel, X-Men: Apocalypse, McAvoy sheds his dreamy locks for a shiner, hairless aesthetic. Director Bryan Singer Facetimed with Stewart as McAvoy went cray cray with the electric razor.
"It's something I'm excited about," says McAvy. "We still have to honor the iconic nature of Professor X. I'm glad to be finally arriving at that destination--with my head."
"Why don't you save locks of it and send it to me? I could make some use of it," said Stewart.
That'd be cute.
"With every piece of hair that drops," said McAvoy, "My power is increasing."
