Enter The Nice Guys, where Gosling plays a private investigator in the 1970s, appropriate-era mustache included, and gets mixed up in a mob plot with Russell Crowe and Matt Bomer. Think of it as Starsky & Hutch but with less intentional slapstick and more, well, Ryan Gosling.
