After a pair of mixed-review live musicals from NBC, Fox and Paramount of have decided to get in on the instant Twitter hits with GREASE: LIVE.
Joining an already impressive cast as Frenchy is Grammy Award-nominated songstress Carly Rae Jepsen. Fresh off the success of her well-received album E.Mo.Tion, Jepsen joins Julianne Hough (Sandy), Aaron Tveit (Danny), Vanessa Hudgens (Rizzo), and Keke Palmer (Marty).
Jessie J will lend her powerful pipes to a live performance of a new version of "Grease (Is the Word)" to open the show, and while there's no doubt that she'll nail it, after she's done the cast will be at the mercy of the internet.
GREASE: LIVE will premiere on January 31 on Fox.
