With the ever-expanding popularity of superhero franchises and comic book adaptations, it seems like Comic-Con International has more and more standout moments every year, and this year was no exception.
With a huge year for Marvel almost in the books, and another huge one ahead for both the Disney-owned studio and its rival, DC, A-listers mingled with cosplayers, and fans were treated to glimpses of the nerd landscape in 2016.
Channing Tatum's selfie with the rest of his Marvel ilk - Now that Tatum is set to play the kinetically-charged card-slinger, Gambit, he joins the extensive ranks of the comic giant's favored. Pictured with Hugh Jackman, James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, and the rest of the X-Men: Apocalypse cast, along with Ryan Reynolds (Deadpool), and the cast of the Fantastic Four reboot.

What do you do when you're a movie star whose late for his panel and you have to wade through the Comic-Con crowd without being noticed? Take a page from Bryan Cranston and Andrew Garfield's book and dress up. It's easy to tell that Reynolds is still new to the concept though, since a Darth Vader with those biceps is still going to draw attention.
