For his Little Mermaid-inspired music video for 'Vibin', we see Big Dipper transform into a mer-bear nymph, lava-red beard and all.
"Vibin'" is the first single off of Big Dipper's new EP, Extra Good. Consider it his "Starships" moment, since Big Dipper says that "Vibin'" is a bit different from what he's used to doing.
" 'Vibin' is new for me because it is universal and radio friendly," he explains. "There is still a bit of innuendo, but nothing quite as explicit as my other music. I think it has crossover potential."
But it may be the campy video that gets the most attention. "I thought it would be incredible to see a big beefy hairy man playing a merbear," Big Dipper says. "It made sense to play off The Little Mermaid and go from having a tail to legs so we could get some dancing in the video."
