You've probably said it yourself. "The universe is telling me..."
The infinite void of chaos did not suddenly become sentient and decide to let you know that you should take a pottery class on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. But we continue to believe that. Well, comedienne-in-chief Amy Schumer has addressed the issue of girls thinking that every single event in their lives is somehow a sign from a higher power.
"Try to imagine the universe as a giant dream board on which women pin their wishes," says host and American treasure, Bill Nye, trying to make sense of America's current relation to astrophysics. Schumer enlisted Nye through her hit Comedy Central TV show, Inside Amy Schumer, and recruted Broad City BFFs Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer, to help explain the nature of the universe to the uninitiated.
Long story short: you're alone and, no, the universe is not here to give you signs and signals to help you navigate your most mundane problems. Get it together people, and watch the video below!
