Civil rights hero Edie Windsor saw Fun Home twice when it was playing Off-Broadway at the Public Theater. Now that the show has transferred to Broadway, she's already made sure to check out in its new home at Circle in the Square Theatre. Based on the bestselling graphic memoir by Alison Bechdel, the story follows her coming out to her parents, her closeted gay father's struggles, and his suicide. Adapted by Lisa Kron (book and lyrics) and Jeanine Tesori (music), it's a show Windsor calls "universal and beautiful, heartwarming and heartbreaking." If you were wondering, Windsor says: "Everyone should see it."
