Lena Dunham is a huge fan of Eloise and the artist who created her, 88-year-old Hilary Knight. That's why he's the subject of a new documentary,It's Me, Hilary: The Man Who Drew Eloise, the premieres this spring on HBO.
"My childhood affinity for her never wavered," she explained at Sundance when it premiered. "And I felt so connected to the character, and tattoos are about self-expression and self-knowledge, and that seemed like the perfect entree into this."
