Dev Hynes: 'I’m Not Gay, But I’m Not Straight.'

Dev Hynes: 'I’m Not Gay, But I’m Not Straight.'

Dev Hynes

Blood Orange lead singer would like you to stop dissecting his sexuality, please.

Devonte Hynes (a.k.a. Blood Orange, a.k.a our 2014 March cover star) took to twitter to address his sexuality.

"Someone just sent me a bunch of blog posts on tumblr dissecting/discussing my sexuality/views based on interviews & it's so dark," he began. "I don't really do many interviews, and I try to be very honest about everything in my life if needs be."

"It's like when I was on the cover of OUT Magazine," continued the man responsible for the smash hit, Cupid Deluxe LP. "Everybody was mad because i'm not 'gay'. But I'm not 'straight' & have never claimed to be. They ignored I was 1 of few black males to be on the cover. I'll probably delete all this, I never usually read this shit, it just saddens me really."

We've got Dev's tweets below, thanks to Idolator.
