L-Word Creator Ilene Chaiken, Ellen DeGeneres Included in 2015 Women in Entertainment Power 100

The Hollywood Reporter has compiled its annual list of the most powerful women in the entrainment industry and The L Word co-creator Ilene Chaiken and Ellen DeGeneres have made the list.

Made up of Tinseltown's top producers, lawyers, agents, executives, and other HBICs the list features everyone from the presidents of Universal Television and A+E Television Networks, to Selma director, Ava DuVernay, to Tina Fey and Amy Poehler.

THR recognized Ellen's role as a host and producer, while Chaiken is paired with Cookie Lyon herself, Taraji P. Henson. They were put in the "Power Squad" category for their work on Fox's Empire.

The out and proud producer and founder of Annapurna Pictures, Megan Ellison, also made the list. Ellison produced such films as Zero Dark Thirty, Her, and American Hustle--all of which received Oscar nominations.
