Vivian Jenna Wilson is once again speaking up for her queer peers.
While attending this year's Out100 Celebration, the transgender model and activist shared some words of wisdom for anyone in the LGBTQ+ community across the globe who may be having a tough time navigating these trying times.
"Trust yourself. Don't let anyone tell you who you are. You know who you are better than anyone else. Thank you for watching my content! It baffles me that other people do that. I love it," Wilson tells Out.
Wilson has proudly spoken up for LGBTQ+ equality as political unrest continues to escalate in major countries around the world. Although she no longer has a relationship with her father, the anti-trans billionaire Elon Musk, the model has found a home within her chosen family.
"There is a lovely trans community in Los Angeles," she said. "Honestly, at this point, most of the people I know are trans."
The activist is also calling for political change in her home state of California. After Zohran Mamdani made history for the Democratic Party by being elected as the mayor of New York City, Wilson hopes it's a sign of more political change to come.
"I am manifesting that we get a similar candidate to Zohran Mamdani here in Los Angeles. I feel like we need to start small in terms of goals, and that's still very lofty," she said.
