To paraphrase her character Brooke Davis, Sophia Bush isn’t just a survivor. She’s a warrior!
Bush won over the hearts of adoring fans around the world on the groundbreaking series One Tree Hill for all nine seasons, appearing as Brooke in 186 episodes between 2003 and 2012. The character quickly became a central fixture of the series until its finale.
Following her rise to fame, Bush bravely came out to the world in April 2024 by writing a deeply personal cover story essay for Glamour titled "I finally feel like I can breathe.”
Now, she’s happily married to fellow Out100 honoree Ashlyn Harris. Together, the two have dedicated themselves to raising awareness around LGBTQ+ equality and work closely with organizations like the Human Rights Campaign and the Elton John AIDS Foundation.
With her new memoir And I Will Tell You Mine recently hitting bookstores, Bush has fully stepped into her best chapter yet, and she hopes to inspire queer youth with every move she makes.
