Beanie Feldstein beat us all to the punchline when she shared this May that she and her wife Bonnie Chance-Roberts were having a “Beanie Baby.” It’s hard to think of a more adorable pregnancy announcement than that! “Nothing on Earth makes me prouder than being one of my daughter’s moms,” Feldstein says of her proudest 2026 accomplishment.
The Booksmart actress hopes that all LGBTQ+ people who want to grow their household can share in the joy she feels. “I think this year I am reflecting deeply on the magic that is having a family as a queer person and I hope that any queer person who wants kids is able to have that experience in a safe and loving community,” she says.
In addition to those heartwarming developments at home, Feldstein also took over the role of Samantha Focker in the forthcoming Focker-in-Law, acting alongside her Booksmart co-stars Skylar Gisondo and Eduardo Franco. Feldstein says filming the fourth installment in the series was “the absolute greatest experience,” adding that “it was so surreal stepping into a world that I grew up loving so much.” Or, as she excitedly puts it, “I’m a Focker!” @beaniefeldstein
