On the heels of publishing his memoir, I Wrote This for Attention, Gage is proud that he “survived a renovation on my first home” and “my own inner critic” — “both equally exhausting.” Part of why renovating his townhouse was such an ordeal is “because grout is a nightmare,” he teases.
“But seriously, the biggest obstacle is my own personality: The traits I was born with and fine-tuned over the years. How do I overcome it? I’m still in the process.”
Gage’s message to the world is that “sometimes a little delusion is healthy. Don’t shrink to fit the world, make the world expand for you.” On that note, the actor looks forward to “a 10-day silent retreat and sound bath in the Himalayas.” @lukasgage
