Anthony Wayne is no stranger to hoofing it in fancy footwear. After appearing in Broadway's Priscilla Queen of the Desert, he's been contorting his body in the current revival of Pippin. Tired of being stuck in the chorus, he struck out on his own this year to bring the story of disco legend Sylvester to the stage in Mighty Real: A Fabulous Sylvester Musical, a show he wrote. "You don't want to just lift someone else up to their dream -- you want to make sure the dream you have comes to life," he explains. "I was inspired by Sylvester's drive to be who he was regardless of what he went through."
