Pornhub is finally catering to women who love sapphic adult films.
The popular porn streaming site is launching Pornhub Sapphic, a new site dedicated to lesbian and non-binary content and creators designed specifically for women-loving-women.
Pornhub Sapphic will feature content curated for the female gaze for the WLW community, inclusive of lesbian, trans, bisexual, and non-binary identities.
“Pornhub Sapphic was created in direct response to feedback from lesbian, queer, and straight women who told us they wanted an experience that felt made for them,” said Alex Kekesi, VP of Brand and Community at Pornhub, in a press release.
Women are often left out of the conversation when it comes to adult films, but according to Pornhub, not only is 38% of the company’s global audience women, but “lesbian” is the most viewed category among women.
“By working with creators and users, we’ve built a space where women-loving-women content is featured and celebrated,” Kekesi continued. “For creators, Pornhub Sapphic offers new opportunities to connect with an engaged audience actively seeking their categories of content. For viewers, it’s about providing women with a dedicated place to explore and enjoy adult entertainment with their experiences and desires in mind.”
Not only will the new site be devoted to content for sapphics, based on audience feedback, but it will also feature female-focused advertising and be free of male-targeted ads like traditional penis enlargement promotions.
Popular sapphic content creators like the award-winning duo TheJellyFilledGirls are also a big part of the company’s rollout of Pornhub Sapphic, in the hopes of drawing in audiences from across the adult film streaming site.
“We know firsthand how much demand there is for authentic women-loving-women content,” The JellyFilledGirls said. “We’re thrilled to welcome Pornhub Sapphic and be part of bringing it to the sapphic community.”
Lesbian content already exists on Pornhub, and it's watched by women. In 2022, "lesbian" was the number one favorite category for women on the site, and women watched scissoring content 155 percent more than men did, and they did.
In fact, "lesbian" was the most-viewed video category overall last year. The site logged an abundance of searches for WLW content, including the terms "scissoring," "lesbian MILF," and "strap-on."
As for transbians and other transgender women who love women, there's no word as to whether there will be a gatekeeper checking for gender assigned at birth.
Back in March, Pornhub dropped its annual statistics for Transgender Day of Visibility and the spicy data showed that trans performers are more booked and busy than ever before, as Out reported. Their visibility was evidenced by many transgender adult entertainers logging record numbers in viewership, despite today's hostile political climate.
Emma Rose secured the number one spot on Pornhub's 2026 stats for the second year in a row, while familiar faces Eva Maxim, Ariel Demure, and Daisy Taylor rounded out the top four.
Now the question will be, what part of the country and the world will dominate PornHub Sapphic?
Pornhub's data on trans content revealed that as of March, Alaska was the top state that binged the most adult trans content in the United States, as Out reported. Louisiana, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, and Vermont rounded out the top five.
From a global perspective, Italy took the number one spot for the country that watches the most erotic transgender content for the second year in a row. Uruguay, United Kingdom, Brazil, and Puerto Rico made up the rest of the top places worldwide.
Out dutifully reports Pornhub's spicy data focusing on its top attractions every year, including last year. Going back to 2024, Dom King was the most searched gay adult entertainer among women, and boomers were 36% more likely to watch strap-on videos than any other generation.
Pornhub Sapphic is now live on the official website here.
