Lil Nas X is finally giving fans an update after a rocky start to 2026.
The "Old Town Road" rapper was arrested for alleged battery of police officers back in August 2025, but his charges were dismissed in April 2026 as long as the star completed a a two-year treatment program.
Thankfully, Lil Nas X seems to be doing well in recovery as he just posted a new video sharing his progress. The musician begins the clip by letting everyone know that he now has a therapist and a psychiatrist that helped diagnose him with bipolar disorder.
"I feel like I had known for the past few years, but I didn't want admit to it because I didn't want to have to take medication. I'm already black and gay! Damn, God! I'm like living life on like extreme hard mode. But on a serious note, I'm doing much better. I'm feeling better," Lil Nas X says in the video.
The star also revealed that he's working on new music and promises to release the material at some point in the near future.
"There is new music on the way! I'm excited to do that and I'm excited to go on this journey with you guys. We've been through so much together. Thank you guys for holding me down. I love you. All I want to do is continue to try to make you proud and make myself proud."
