WHAT IS IT
The National Transgender Visibility March is a demonstration on Washington for trans rights organized by a team of activists that includes Marissa Miller, Luckie Alexsander, and Aryah Lester. "Members of the transgender and gender non-conforming communities will take a major stand against hate and discrimination when they rally in the nation's capital for the first-ever National Trans Visibility March on Washington," reads a statement from the organizers, per The Advocate.

It's currently scheduled for Sunday, March 31 -- which happens to be Trans Day of Visibility, a day that, per TDOV's official website, was created by a Michigan activist named Rachel Crandall in 2009 to "celebrate the trans community in a positive light" -- and Monday, April 1.
