Britney Spears’ GLAAD Look Made Out of Placements—We See You, Tom Lenk

The actor and comedian re-created Britney's iconic outfit.

For those of you who have yet to follow actor and comedian Tom Lenk (@tommylenk), take a moment and get on it. Back from that? Okay, great. Known for re-creating some of the most iconic celebrity looks in his own way, Tom recently set out to reimagine Britney Spears' outfit from the GLAAD Awards, where she received the much-deserved Vanguard Award last week for her positive impact on the LGBT community.

Britney wore a sparkly minidress by Giannina Azar with a pair of Christian Louboutin heels. Seemingly easy to re-create, Tom went for the look, designing the ensemble with items from his home, including two silver placemats, a silver tablecloth, gift bows, and snowflake decorations. Does it work? Yes, yes--right down to the signature "Britney pose."

While we'd never want to discredit the glory that is Britney Spears and her honor at the GLAAD Awards, this is a reminder that it's sometimes just fun to play with fashion. Plus, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, right?
