Welcome to the "grab her by the pussy" era.

Apparently it takes more than a rage-fueled homophobic, racist rant caught fully on tape to be ousted from a high profile position at KB Home. Last weekend Jeffrey Mezger, the CEO of KB Home, one of the country's biggest homebuilders, confronted his neighbor, comedian Kathy Griffin, about an apparent noise complaint she and her boyfriend made about his grandchildren.

In the temperamental tirade, Mezger doesn't hold back, not only calling Griffin a "bald dyke" (Griffin shaved her head over the summer to support her sister, who has since died, after a cancer diagnosis), but also a "fucking c*nt."

Now, after the initial silence after the audio was released in its entirety by HuffPost, KB Home has released a statement with barely a slap on the wrist. "Jeffrey Mezger has always conducted himself in a professional manner during his tenure at KB Home," the statement reads. "He has been a very effective CEO and a great leader for the Company."

After the praise, the company finally admits Mezger's behavior was "unacceptable and a negative reflection on KB Home," and outlined their disciplinary measures. Mezger's bonus for the current year is to be reduced by 25 percent and any similar infractions in the future will result in dismissal. So, after an outburst filled with offensive, hurtful language, caught fully on tape, but apologized for later, rich white men get a reduced bonus at the end of their multi-million dollar year. Welcome to the "grab her by the pussy" era. Listen to the full audio obtained by Huffpost, here.
