Ren Hang, Chinese photographer and provocateur, has reportedly died at age 30.
The news comes from friends and collaborators of the artist, who began to pay their respects this morning on social media.

"My friend Ren Hang left us this morning in Berlin," wrote publisher Pierre Bessard. "I am sad and in shock."
Dries Roelens, the Belgian gallerist who runs Stieglitz 19 where Ren's work is currently being shown, wrote on facebook, "Ren Hang, RIP, poet, photographer, magician... You were the best, the most magical."
No official cause of death has been announced, but Dutch publication DeMorgen has alleged that the artist committed suicide.
