The actress also said that Steve Bannon looks like a bag of trash.

During last night's 2017 InStyle Awards, Cate Blanchett took aim at the sleazy men of the film industry and, well, men in general, with an elegant rallying cry to women. Blanchett was there accepting the Style Icon Award and took time in her speech to give an impassioned dedication to all the courageous women in her life.

"For me the true icons of style... it's always those women who've been utterly themselves without apology," she told the crowd. "Whose physical presence and their aesthetic is really integrated in a non self-conscious way into part of who they are, and women who know how they look is not all of who they are, but just an extension of that. It's about women who feel free to wear what they want, when they want, and how they want to wear it." From there, she delivered a rallying cry to women that caused the room to erupt in applause: "We all like looking sexy, but it doesn't mean we want to fuck you."

She could've just dropped the mic and left it at that, but she also went in on Steve Bannon after, saying: "No one says to Steve Bannon, 'You look like a bag of trash. Do you want me to throw you out?'"

Immediately, the speech went viral, with Jessica Chastain and January Jones posting the now-iconic line on social media. Donna Karen, take note and for everyone else, all hail Queen Cate.
