Texas republican Pete Sessions claims Pulse was a "young person's nightclub" instead.
Known for his anti-LGBT legislation, Texas Republican politician Pete Sessions argued that Pulse nightclub is not a gay club.
When National Journal reporter Daniel Newhauser asked Sessions if the Orlando shooting would influence his opinion LGBT legislation, specifically an amendment that would protect the LGBT community from work discrimination, Sessions responded that Pulse was not a gay club.

"It was a young person's nightclub, I'm told. And there were some [LGBT people] there, but it was mostly Latinos," Sessions said, according to Newhauser's tweet.
Once again, an anti-LGBT legislator cannot recognize this direct attack on the LGBT community. Is avoiding the question any better than completely denying the anti-LGBT rhetoric he's spread?
