Transgender Sisters Come Out Together

Last summer, Irish siblings Jamie O'Herlihy and Chloe (nee Daniel) O'Herlihy both came out as transgender women.

In an interview with Caters News, Jamie and Chloe shared their coming-out story.

"I came out to Chloe and our mum last summer," Jamie said, "and by November I had come out to all my friends and colleagues."

With her sister coming out, Chloe also came to terms with her own gender idenity.

"It's weird that we both going through exactly the same thing and having the same thoughts about being trans but just not talking to each other," Chloe said.

"Then when Jamie came out and told us, I was like 'Right, this is something you are going to have to face too,'" said Chloe.
