Trump protestors shared their feelings about the president-elect with assistant editor Hilton Dresden.
Following the election of Donald Trump as president, many Americans are frightened, angry, and determined not to let the controversial figure take control of our nation. Last night in New York City, thousands marched from Union Square to Trump Tower on 57th St., where other protestors joined from a second major rally in Columbus Circle.
Asssistant editor Hilton Dresden visited the scene to hear what real people have to say about the current state of the nation. What he found was both alarming and hopeful. Watch below:
Police officers threatened some protestors with arrest if they didn't evacuate the streets and traffic was backed up for blocks, and several cars were unable to move an inch for hours as the masses of people flooded around them. Citizens climbed on top of cars and up street lights, brandishing signs that read "Not My President" and "Pussies Grab Back." Chants at the rally included "Donald Trump, go away, racist, sexist, anti-gay," as well as the more simple: "Fuck Donald Trump" and "Fuck Mike Pence."
