Another lesbian love story, a la Carol, will get the Hollywood treatment after Variety reported that Rachel McAdams is in talks to join the cast of Disobedience.
The film, produced by co-star Rachel Weisz, is adapted from the novel of the same name by Naomi Alderman. Ronit Krushka (Weisz) returns to her Orthdox Jewish community after her father dies and rekindles a past attraction for her best friend (McAdams), now married to her cousin.
The film is expected to start production next year.
