Hayley Kiyoko kicks off the summer by announcing that "Summer's for the girls!"
Lesbian Jesus is back, and it may be her best song yet! There's absolutely nothing better than indulging in your queerness, and Hayley Kiyoko is showing that with her new song and music video, "For the Girls."
The video finally gives us the sapphic Bachelorette we've been dreaming of! All the contestants, representing so many different types of sapphics, make their intros, with one even pulling up in a UHaul truck. And every single woman in the video is GORGEOUS.
The song and video are pure, indulgent celebrations of women and loving them. Kiyoko gets to make out with beautiful woman after beautiful woman, exchanging flirty looks and exchanges with beautiful women of all types. This is the lesbian heaven that Lesbian Jesus had promised us.
"Surround me with the girls, I love being a girl, I'm ready for the girls, are you?" she sings, and all I can do is shout, "YES I'M READY!!!"
The big ending of the video sees a surprise contestant show up, real-life former Bachelor contestant Becca Tilly! As Tilly gets out of her car, she and Hayley smile romantically at each other. Is something going on here??? Watch the video below and see what you think!
Kiyoko and Tilly also fueled rumors that they're dating in real life when the two of them were seen kissing at the Hollywood premiere of the video last night. In a TikTok posted by a fan, Kiyoko and Tilly kiss, Kiyoko kisses her cheek, and they kiss again, as both have huge smiles on their faces.
The pair had also attended the 2022 Elle Hollywood Rising party together on Wednesday night. Some fans have suspected the two were a pair for years, and immediately celebrated this as a couple's coming out.
The video also premiered a day after Kiyoko announced the name and release date for her much-anticipated sophomore album, Panorama!
Panorama will be available on July 29, and we can't wait to listen!
