Frank Ocean Just Interrupted the Oscars in the Best Way

Frank Ocean bag

OK, but where is the album?

MikelleStreet

Sure, he hasn't given us new music (well there was that clip, and that cover and a whole slate of loose singles) but it seems like Frank Ocean has tons of things to seemingly tide us over. After finally dropping the DVD version of his experimental album Endless, with a series of posters, Ocean is back with the re-issue of his twice sold out zine Boys Don't Cry and a new poster in celebration of his radio show, Blonded. Leave it to Frank to drop something in the middle of Oscars night!

Many fans were alerted of the new releases by the TeamFrankDaily account on Twitter. The fan account, which is known as the largest active Frank Ocean fan account on the platform, had been suspended for image copyright violations, but returned in early February. The account posted a screenshot of Ocean's Blonded site seemingly being updated.

The zine, was first released in 2016 in a series of pop up shops the same weekend Endless and the album Blonde debuted. It originally came with a copy of Blonde inside. At over 350 pages, and done in a large format, the magazines feels more like a tome and sees contributions from Wolfgang Tillmans, Ren Hang, Tom Sachs, Kanye West, and Ocean himself. After that initial free, limited edition release, Ocean dropped the zine on his website for another limited-edition sale. And now it's back, at $80 a pop.

The new double-sided poster reads "Do you remember the first time?" on the front. The back features a line up of imagery affiliated with various Blonded episodes and playlists. That's up for $30.

Now Frank, can you open that beautiful Celine bag of yours and show us the fifth album?
