Today, Blood Orange (Dev Hynes) has unveiled the music video for the first track from his upcoming new album, Negro Swan.
The vid is directed by Crack Stevens, and the song features a writing credit from Porches' Aaron Maine. EVA also sings backup vocals.
In the visual, the screen is split in two, as two separate narratives unfold across the five minutes.
Negro Swan is out August 24 via Domino--Blood Orange describes it in a statement as: "An exploration into my own and many types of black depression, an honest look at the corners of black existence, and the ongoing anxieties of queer/people of color. A reach back into childhood and modern traumas, and the things we do to get through it all."
