Lorde is Sorry She Captioned a Bathtub Pic With Whitney Houston Lyrics

A casual reminder to everyone that Whitney died in a bathtub.

On Thursday, singer Lorde apologized for captioning a picture of her bath with "and iiii will always love you," a reference to Whitney Houston's I Will Always Love You. She was criticised for the post because Houston died in a bath of an accidental drowning in 2012.

After realizing the implication, Lorde posted on her Instagram story that she was "an idiot."

"I'm so sorry for offending anyone- I hadn't even put this together I was just excited to take a bath," she wrote. "Love Whitney forever and ever. Sorry again."
