The pansexual, non-binary rapper readies new music for July 17.
Rapper Angel Haze has been relatively quiet since releasing her second studio album, Back to the Woods, in 2015--a follow-up to 2013's major label breakout Dirty Gold. Her menacing comeback single, "Resurrection," suggested new material in the works and now we have an ambiguous release date from the pansexual, non-binary emcee: July 17.

The OUT100 alumnus' music has historically tackled charged topics from sexual abuse to religion, so it's likely her forthcoming work will do the same--especially considering it's being released in a culture riddled with incredible unrest. On "Resurrection," Haze spits with an unforgiving flow and open heart: "2016, the year I rise/ Like the phoenix, yeah man, my shit on fire."
If 2016 saw Haze "rise like the phoenix," we're eager to see what 2017 brings. Revisit "Resurrection," below.
