Marking his first release in nearly a year, Big Dipper premieres today a new sultry single and music video for "LaCroix Boi," featuring an out-of-drag cameo from Alaska Thunderfuck of Drag Race fame.
His visual was directed by Ryan Ovadia and sees the raunchy bear working through campy choreography in a slick, neon-lit space. "I'll be your LaCroix Boi," Big Dipper coos in a rare autotuned falsetto above "baby-making" production by longtime collaborator Mike Malarkey.
The rapper's latest is a departure from his signature raunchy approach (See: "Meat Quotient" and "Skank"), delivering an innocent tribute to the sparkling water brand. At one point dressed in a custom jacket made with real LaCroix cans, Big Dipper twirls wildly on a hoverboard, as the track's fizzy beats and smooth bass lines bubble happily beneath.
Smiley, hairy and unabashedly queer, Big Dipper has dropped his most summery single since "Vibin," where the tongue-in-cheek performer gave Ariel a run for her money in a technicolor fish tail and fire red locks.
