Perfume Genius has a new album coming out, teasing today a 30-second video with unreleased music and a taste of the visuals Mike Hadreas will introduce throughout his next chapter. This will be the Tacoma-based artist's fourth full-length project, following 2014's Too Bright, which featured defining singles, such as "Queen."

Hadreas' forthcoming LP, allegedly titled No Shape, will see the performer processing anxieties of queer life in an uncomfortable time when gay marriage is legal, but Vice President Pence is backpedaling LGBTQ advances, The Fader reports. ""A long time ago, I felt like there was something wrong with me [for being gay]," he said. "And there never was. But there's just, like, people who will kill you on the street."
In the short visual, we hear an anxious chorus of dramatic strings, as footage plays of Hadreas running hastily from an unseen subject. "I can't dream," the queer artist says with a washed-out, fuzzy effect. The track is reportedly called "Choir," according to Stereogum. Watch, below.
