Jarina De Marco found a spot firmly on our radar when the singer dropped a lavender-covered video for her track "STFU." With ring pops on one hand and a Tamagotchi hanging from another, the Dominican and Brazilian artist delivered our new go-to line for all the dumpster fires we've had to witness this year: "Pero pero pero pero pero like shut the fuck up."
It also helps that the track is insanely danceable thanks to a beat that's EDM-heavy without sounding like a Skrillex headache. We're not alone in wanting to dance along to her song, either. With every release from the artist, it seems as if a dance crew on every continent comes out of the woodwork to create a dance video for her songs--a trend De Marco is floored by.
"From Romania to Singapore, professionals and amateurs alike really took to my rhythm-forward tracks and went for it. It's beyond astonishing," she told OUT. Now, to celebrate the quick, rhythmic footwork of her fans, she's premiering an exclusive dance video for "STFU" featuring Indonesia's GOLDFAM dance crew that made her jaw drop when they sent it over.
Set against a backdrop of a waterpark and featuring the singer's favorite shade of lavender, the dancers work through the eclectic beat. Though there's no Tamagotchi to speak of in this video, De Marco assures us that the "little fucker [is] still kicking" when she dances to the track. As for when the best time to dance along to "STFU" is, she's got one word of advice that should launch a thousand more dance videos. The ideal setting for dancing to her addicting new track is simply "whenever and wherever the 'no fucks given' spirit strikes you."
