Rostam Batmanglij, who's known simply as Rostam, has announced new tour dates for 2018, which will support the former Vampire Weekend musician's debut solo album, Half-Light. His North American run will begin January 29 at The Earl in Atlanta, and continue in cities like Nashville, Washington D.C. and Philadelphia.
This week, Rostam will perform in Los Angeles with HAIM, the sister trio he collaborated with on their sophomore album, Something To Tell You. "I love Haim's ability to sing in harmony, so on 'Walking Away,' one of the songs I produced on their new record, I really tried to push that to the fore," he told OUT. "There are about 50 to 100 vocal tracks in that song, and it's all the sisters singing different, interlocking parts, and at the same time there's this emotional power to each of their voices."
