“Probably think I’m coming back but I don’t.”

If there's anything Mariah Carey knows how to turn out, it's a soulful, bass-backed insult track. Her latest was inspired by her breakup from Australian billionaire James Packer.

In the song, which she teased on Instagram, Carey sings: "Cause when you love someone, you just don't treat them bad, you messed up all we had. Probably think I'm coming back, but I don't, I don't."

The pair broke off their engagement last October when Packer voiced reservations about Carey's E! reality show, Mariah's World. "Ever since the tour wrapped SI took some time to process my feelings and I started writing a song to express what I've been through," Carey told E!. "And if you're not getting the love that you need from someone that you're supposed to be in a real relationship with, then why remain in that situation?"

Listen to the teaser for "I Don't," which comes out February 3, below.
