Rihanna's 'Sledgehammer' Is First Video to Premiere in IMAX

Rihanna is making the video premiere for her new Star Trek: Beyond soundtrack contribution, "Sledgehammer," just as big as the ballad itself, announcing that it's the first-ever video to premiere in IMAX.

The video premiered Thursday morning at 9a.m. EST, and was later released on Tidal and Vevo:

RiRi revealed the news on her Instagram and Twitter, with a teaser for the video, which shows her dancing in a sci-fi landscape that is only fitting for the Star Trek soundtrack.

The Fader reports that the music video will show in theatres before the movie Legend of Tarzan.
