Claire Foy takes on the iconic role of Lisbeth Salander.

The long-anticipated trailer for The Girl in the Spider's Web has finally arrived, and with it, a new Lisbeth Salander, played this time by The Crown's Claire Foy.

In the trailer, Salander captures an abusive crook by dangling him from the ceiling by a rope, using a taser on him, and blackmailing him--a classic choice for a typical night with the unconventional heroine.

Spider's Web follows The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, which saw Rooney Mara nominated for an Oscar in the lead role. The films are based off of the book series by Stieg Larsson, which also includes The Girl Who Played With Fire and The Girl Who Kicked The Hornet's Nest, though American versions of those novels have not yet been made. Spider's Web's novel counterpart was written posthumously by David Lagercrantz.

The film is set for release November 9--it's directed by Fede Alvarez and also stars Sverrir Gudnason, Lakeith Stanfield, Sylvia Hoeks, and Stephen Merchant.
