Annie Clark (St. Vincent) makes her directorial debut with Birthday Party, one of four films included in the all-female-directed (and written) horror anthology, XX.
The queer singer/songwriter's film is joined by Karyn Kusama's Her Only Living Son, Jovanka Vuckovic's The Box, and Roxanne Benjamin's Don't Fall, the latter of whom co-wrote Birthday Party with Clark.

Birthday Party appears to involve a creepy--you guessed it--birthday celebration, where a creepy panda costume is surrounded by revelers in strange capes with eyeholes.
The entire anthology will be available on demand, iTunes, and in select theaters February 17, and will play at Sundance Film Festival's midnight screening section later this month.
