Brad Pitt & Marion Cotillard Get Steamy in Allied
Here's the trailer for the new film from Robert Zemeckis.
The same day Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie announced their shocking divorce, a new trailer for the soon-to-be bachelor's latest film, Allied, was released.
Allied follows the story of U.S. intelligence officer Max Vatan (Pitt), who meets French resistance fighter Marianne Beausejour (Marion Cotillard) during a dangerous mission in North Africa in the 1940s. The two fall in love, but Vatan later learns there's more to his belle than he'd originally understood.
The trailer's timing is particularly poignant as rumors swirl that Pitt and Cotillard may have taken their on-screen chemisty into real life while hanging out on set, although as of now it's just gossip.
Allied was directed by Oscar-winner Robert Zemeckis (Forrest Gump, Cast Away), and the screenplay was written by Steven Knight (Peaky Blinders, Locke), who adapted the tale from a true story.
