To celebrate the release of Carol on DVD, Blu-Ray, and on demand, writer and director Phyllis Nagy talks about her Oscar-nominated screenplay for Todd Haynes's masterpiece.

In this exclusive clip, Nagy explains that the story is based on The Price of Salt, the only non-crime novel ever written by Patricia Highsmith, the British thriller queen. Highsmith initially wrote it under a pseudonym, just before she published The Talented Mr Ripley.
