It was confessions on a West Hollywood dance floor.
Madonna took the stage at The Abbey in WeHo in a surprise appearance Saturday for the birthday of the bar's owner, Tristan Schukraft.
The gay icon intoned to the crowd to "take your freedom" as she promoted her upcoming album, Confessions on a Dance Floor: Part II. The album marks her long-awaited return to house music as well as the sequel to 2005's Confessions on a Dance Floor.
The singer previously surprised Coachella with an appearance alongside Sabrina Carpenter.
During her appearance, the singer said "legend," after Schukraft noted how her music was playing when the club first opened in 1991. She later led the crowd in a singing of "Happy Birthday" to the Out100 honoree and partied with the crowd to some of her hits.
Confessions II comes out July 3.
