White Lotus season 3 will have nude scenes, the stars reveal

White Lotus fans, rejoice! The cast of season 3 has confirmed that there will be nude scenes in this upcoming season.

Patrick Schwarzenegger, Sam Nivola, and Jason Isaacs are just three of the stars of the HBO drama's upcoming explosive third season, where they portray wealthy vacationers at a Thai resort alongside Parker Posey and Sarah Catherine Hook. At a press conference hosted by HBO on Monday, the three actors confirmed that they all appear nude, though the context has yet to be revealed.

Schwarzenegger, the son of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver, revealed that he's hesitant to watch the nude scenes with his family.

"There are some uncomfortable conversations between us in the bed that are a little weird to show in front of your family," said Schwarzenegger. "Episodes 5 and 6, there will be some times that I take some bathroom breaks from the family, or maybe I won't watch that episode."

Nivola reveals that the show features his first nude scene as an actor, as well as his first on-camera kiss. "Of course, that comes along with a lot of fear and anxiety," said the 21-year-old. But "there's a few people that I would trust more with footage of my buttocks" than creator Mike White. "He made us feel so comfortable."

Isaacs chimed in, "I'm horrified because I didn't know I was naked in the thing." The room laughed as he added, "I'm very upset." Isaacs then joked, "But the truth is, it wasn't Mike. It's in my contract. I insist on it in every show."

At the same press conference, star Natasha Rothwell, whose season 1 character Belinda makes a return, shared how Jennifer Coolidge's character Tanya lives on in season 3. Her storyline will be "a love letter to Tanya, in a way," she said, with Belinda reflecting Tanya's "desire for wanting something better."

The White Lotus season 3 premieres February 16 on HBO and Max.
