Manzo is suing Bravo, claiming that the producers encouraged Glanville to drink and act irresponsibly for ratings.

Former Real Housewives of New Jersey star Caroline Manzo is suing Bravo and claiming that her fellow Bravolebrity Brandi Glanville sexually harassed and assaulted her while on a trip to Morocco.

People broke the news a year ago in January 2023 that both Glanville and Manzo had left the upcoming fifth season of The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip early due to Glanville allegedly kissing Manzo several times without her consent.

Now, Manzo’s lawsuit details even more about what allegedly happened on the trip.

The suit alleges that Bravo and parent company NBCUniversal knew of Glanville’s history of allegedly sexually harassing others and still hired her and encouraged her to drink heavily.

“Defendants, including Bravo, regularly ply the Real Housewives cast with alcohol, cause them to become severely intoxicated, and then direct, encourage and/or allow them to sexually harass other cast members because that is good for ratings,” the lawsuit reads.

“Defendants even encouraged Ms. Glanville to become drunk on the set so that she would be more likely to commit outrageous and harassing acts, thereby helping Defendants’ ratings without regard to the rights and safety of those around her,” it continues.

The lawsuit then alleges that after Glanville had been acting sexually and rudely, Manzo tried to get her to stop, which led to an argument.

The next day, on Tuesday, January 24, 2023, the suit alleges that Glanville walked up to Manzo, who was sitting on a couch, spread her legs open, and laid her head on Manzo’s thighs. When Manzo moved away, Glanville allegedly followed her and proceeded to kiss her several times, mounting her, and thrusting her tongue in Manzo’s mouth while humping her.

It says that when Manzo went into a bathroom to collect herself, Glanville also entered the room and began to press her body against Manzo with the door locked. It states that Glanville then “reached around Manzo’s body and then groped, grabbed, and forcibly fondled Manzo’s vagina and breasts” while also pushing her face into Manzo’s neck to kiss her.

The lawsuit also alleges that other Housewives, specifically Phaedra Parks and Eva Marcille, were “interrogating” Manzo about the attack, making her uncomfortable. It also states that while Glanville was holding Manzo down on the sofa and humping her, one of the other cast members was yelling, “Get her Brandi!”

A representative for Glanville gave a statement to Page Six denying the allegations.

“Sadly, Brandi had to wake up to yet another lawsuit that includes defamatory, false accusations about her,” the representative said. “While filming, Brandi followed what the producers asked of her, and there was no sexual assault. She is innocent of these absurd accusations that have weighed on her mental health for far too long without a word of support from Peacock, Shed or Bravo.
