Lady Gaga is officially one of the second most-nominated artists at the 2026 Grammy Awards — tied with Cirkut and Jack Antonoff, and only behind Kendrick Lamar — with a total of seven nominations. Her hit studio album, Mayhem, also broke a personal record for Mother Monster at this upcoming ceremony.
First and foremost, Gaga has just received her fifth nomination for Album of the Year. Prior to Mayhem, she was nominated in the category for The Fame, The Fame Monster, Born This Way, and Love For Sale (alongside Tony Bennett). Moreover, Gaga has been nominated in all three top-line categories she's eligible for: Album of the Year (Mayhem), Song of the Year ("Abracadabra"), and Record of the Year ("Abracadabra").
Mayhem has also become Gaga's most-nominated project to date (seven nominations overall). To recap, Mother Monster was nominated in the following categories at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards:
