Heated Rivalry stars Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie have officially been announced as two of the torchbearers who will carry the Olympic flame for the upcoming Milan Winter Olympics.

The torch relay for the Milan Olympics began on November 26, 2025, in Olympia, Greece, and features torchbearers, including current and former Olympians, who carry the flame throughout Greece and Italy, culminating in Milan on February 6 for the Opening Ceremonies.

The timing and location of Williams's and Hudson's leg of the torch relay have not yet been announced.

Heated Rivalry is a Canadian show that focuses on the rivalry and romance between a Canadian hockey star (Williams) and a Russian hockey star (Storrie). While Russia will not have a team at the Milan Winter Olympics, the show is an international hit. Williams and Storrie have become breakout stars and recently presented an award at the Golden Globes

The show will debut in Italy on HBO Max in February, the same time the Olympics will be taking place.

Due to its massive success, Heated Rivalry has already been renewed for a second season. While a release date for season 2 has yet to be announced, showrunner Jacob Tierney says it won't be too long.

"It's not gonna be two years. It's not even gonna be 18 months, I don't think," he said. "So we're gonna go as fast as we can, while ensuring that we're doing as good a job as we possibly can."
