Holy cow, who knew tennis could be this hot??!!
The first trailer for Luca Guadagnino’s upcoming film Challengers has been released, and suddenly, we are the biggest tennis fans in the world!
Challengers stars Josh O’Connor and Mike Faist as two tennis pros and friends who are rising stars in their sport when they meet Tashi (Zendaya), another young and hot tennis pro.
Both men are drawn to her, and in the trailer, it looks like there’s a little ménage à trois action going on!
The film then fast forwards to years later when Tashi suffered a career-ending injury and became Art’s (Faist) coach and wife. She convinces her husband to enter a Challengers tennis tournament, but once gets there, he learns his former best friend and rival Patrick (O’Connor) will be his opponent and the drama begins.
Guadagnino is known for his sexy and intellectual films like Call Me by Your Name, Suspiria, and Bones and All, and he always gets incredible performances out of his actors, so Challengers is looking like it will be one of the best movies of the year!
Zendaya’s character Tashi truly has all the power in this movie. While the other two might also be tennis pros, she’s got them game, set, and match point.
Challengers is only in theaters this September. From our Sponsors
