Little Monsters just keep on winning!
After teasing fans with the official cast posters yesterday, the official first trailer for Ridley Scott's upcoming film House of Gucci has officially dropped, and if you thought Oscar-winning actress and pop legend Lady Gaga was serving looks before, wait until you actually see her in action as the infamous ex-wife of fashion legend Maurizio Gucci!
\u201cstasera.\u201d— House of Gucci (@House of Gucci) 1627571533
The singer-songwriter turned actress plays Patrizia Reggiani, the ex-wife of Maurizio, who was convicted of ordering his 1995 assassination after he left her for another woman and they divorced. Helmed by beloved director Ridley Scott (Gladiator, Thelma & Louise, Alien), the film is stacked to the brim with other A-List, Oscar-winning talent including Jared Leto, Al Pacino, and Jeremy Irons, as well as Oscar nominees Salma Hayek and Adam Driver (who plays the Maurizio to Gaga's Patrizia).
Filled with enough '70s and '80s glam to last a lifetime (we even see a wild night out at Studio 54 in the trailer!), House of Gucci is "inspired by the shocking true story of the family empire behind the Italian fashion house of Gucci. Spanning three decades of love, betrayal, decadence, revenge, and ultimately murder, we see what a name means, what it's worth, and how far a family go for control."
House of Gucci hits theaters on November 24!
