Hello Out readers! It's almost the end of February, and this year is speeding by!

Here at Out.com, one of our favorite new stars is Cooper Koch, who played Erik Menéndez in Ryan Murphy's Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story and earned a Golden Globe nomination for it.

We're excited to see what he does next, and now that we know what kind of projects he's hoping to star in, we're doubly excited!

In an interview with VMan magazine, Koch said that he has a "fantasy list" of projects he'd like to star in, including three adaptations of popular queer books.

Those books? Miranda July's All Fours from 2024, Hanya Yanagihara's A Little Life, and James Baldwin's classic Giovanni's Room. We love these choices, and Koch would be great in them! Let's make it happen!

Koch has some pretty great taste when it comes to projects he'd like to star in. What queer books would you like to see adapted into movies and TV shows?

This Day in Out History

Back in 2019 on this day, we reported on Richard John "Jack" Baker and Michael McConnell, a couple who got married in Minnesota in 1971. That year, their marriage was officailly recognized as legal.

Back in the 70s, the couple had tried to get married but were denied because they were gay. Baker then changed his legal name to the gender neutral "Pat Lyn" and they reapplied in another county. The clerk there approved it because they didn't realize it was a same-sex marriage.

In February of 2019, the Social Security Administration decided to officially recognize the marraige as legal.
